COMING SOON IN AUGUST 2019 the Third Annual John Pedace, Jr. BE LEGENDARY Lacrosse Family Fun Day created and hosted by John's niece Cecelia and her precious friend Julia. On her youtube channel, Cecelia wrote: "Hi Everyone. On Wednesday, June 7, 2017, my Uncle John Pedace passed away of cancer. He was an amazing man, brother, son, uncle, coach, and friend to all. He owned three beloved dogs and was a lacrosse coach at Tantasqua High School. He was simply legendary and inspiring to everyone around him. As a memorial, my friend Julia and I started the John Pedace, Jr. BE LEGENDARY Program where we will do lots of community service in honor of his being legendary and helping to make the world a better place. On this channel, we will post about upcoming events for the program and posting videos of the events. Thank you, and remember to always BE LEGENDARY." At Family Fun Day there will be fun carnival-type games using Lacrosse equipment for lacrosse beginners, mini-skills competitions for the more serious lacrosse players, and mini-exhibition games from some of the "pros" and peewees. Game prizes, raffle prizes, music, BE LEGENDARY t-shirts and bracelets, and more... Proceeds from Family Fun Day will support local programs and activities for underprivileged youth under the umbrella of the non-profit organization Sonelia Incorporated. In the meantime, coming soon in August 2019 from 4 pm to 6 pm at Elias Brookings School at 433 Walnut Street in Springfield, Massachusetts.
